Yep - that's right! Our LOA has arrived!!!!!!! We received the call from our agency last night around 5:30pm EST. Matt was on one phone listening in and I was on the other! Yesterday was day 80 in case you weren't counting - like we were. hehehe! FedEx delivered the official document to me at work today just after noon. It's so beautiful!
In case you're not familiar with the adoption lingo - this is the Letter of Approval or Letter of Seeking Confirmation. It basically states our names, our son's name and DOB and asks us if we wish to accept his referral or not. Well, duh! of course we do! We will both sign it tonight (i'll post pics later) and we'll overnight it back to our agency. Once they receive it they will send it to China and we will move on to the next stage - Travel Approval. We've been told we will receive TA in approximately 4-6 weeks with actual travel probably about 3-4 weeks after that. We're getting closer..... we can hardly wait! I gotta start packing!

I was just going back reading some comments on our own blog and realized I never answered the size question on what the boys were wearing. both boys (we were told) weighed 23lbs...reality 20lbs and we had them in 18mnth tops and 12mnth bottoms. we went w/ the 18 for most of the clothes we brought since we sent some in a carepackage and got pictures of them wearing them. (we didn't know how many layers were on underneath though) the tops were a bit big, but are easy to get on and off which can be a challenge if they are not used to being changed. the bottoms we only brought one pair each of the 12mnths....mistake! we brought safety pins and tried to buy more pants there, but the 18mnths really kept falling down...bring some smaller than you really expect! They are now 17mnths (at home now) and still wearing those 12mnths. If you can find any of the pants that have the adjustable waists and the adjustable legs....those are great! our guys are very long bodied and short legged. and I have been told that is pretty common for the boys.
again....CONGRATS! it is such a great feeling when you finally get that in your hand!!!!!!
