our lives were changed forever. On August 9 we celebrated one year of being a family! It was on August 9, 2009 at our hotel in Kunming, China we met our son for the first time. The images are still so fresh in my mind. I can't believe Michael's been with us an entire year! In some ways it seems like he's always been with us and in others it seems like we just returned home from China! I could write for days about all of the changes we've seen, the ups and downs, the progress he's made, the funny things he does and says....... He keeps us on our toes that's for sure. Like I've said so many times before, Michael is an amazing child and we are truly blessed to have him as our son. And we are looking forward to all the new and wonderful experiences this next year will bring.

Michael is so handsome! You look back at those pictures and you think... wow he was such a baby, and now he's a little boy! He's grown so mature in the face!
